MEDITRAIN Success Stories
New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH), a 141-bed facility in Boston, Massachusetts needed an alternative to live training for the Order Entry module.
"We were experiencing problems in ensuring that all Nursing Unit Staff were receiving training in Order Entry. Staffing issues were preventing nurses from leaving their floor during their regular shift, and after hours training was not well attended", says Cathy Andrews,of NEBH.
NEBH contracted MEDITRAIN for the job. A leader in MEDITECH specific Computer Based Training (CBT), MEDITRAIN provided a content expert and production team to develop a CBT to meet NEBH's specific needs. The result? A professional comprehensive, and tailored product with minimal resources required from NEBH.
"The Meditrain CBT was well done and will be a valuable addition to our training resources"
When asked if she would recommend MEDITRAIN Andrews says
"Absolutely. Having a self-training tool available to clinical staff will be extremely valuable. We expect to have it available to all staff within a few weeks, and hope to work with clinical managers to require periodic review by all staff members."
