"I went looking for someone who could get a HL7 file out of Meditech. I needed to find someone who I thought I could communicate with and who would get the task done in a timely manner. Samaritan needed HL7 specific files for Chemistry, Radiology and Departmental. MEDITRAIN created a real time, Magic based interface to transcribe the date to the vendor software.

After assigning one of our expert MAGIC programmers to the project, MEDITRAIN worked with the EMR vendor to meet Samaritan's unique requirements. For example, Samaritan also needed HL7 files for Microbiology, but had not implemented the Micro module. MEDITRAIN was able to assist by taking the data out of the Chemistry Module until Samaritan implemented Micro.
