ADT: Designed to transmit ADM Patient Demographic, Visit and Event information to outside HL7 compliant systems. This ADT version of the Interface is driven by events in Meditech's Admissions module. The interface outputs Admission, Discharge and Transfer data to outside systems real time or in a batch.

Pathology: The pathology interface is conducted in real time. This interface uses Meditechreports and transcribes them to vendor software. Using fields chosen by the user, the interface acquires either HL7 or custom data from Meditech and transfers the fields to the outside program.

Radiology: Radiology interfaces also use Meditech generated reports to transcribe data to vendor software. Users choose the fields to be transcribed, and we send them to the outside software using either HL7 or custom language.

Departmental Reports: Using a similar procedure as both Pathology and Radiology, Departmental Report interfaces transcribe data to vendor software using Meditech generated reports. This is done using either HL7 or custom data, and is completed in real time via socket connections.

Lab/Chemistry: Our Lab/Chemistry interfaces download patient results stored in Meditech to outside software. Conducted in real time, using socket connections, we can do this in either HL7 or custom format.

Microbiology: The Microbiology interfaces use the same process as our Lab/Chemistry interfaces. We download patient results to outside software in real time, via socket connections. This information can also be either HL7 or custom format.

Material Management: Our Materials Management interface transcribes information such as purchase orders into vendor software. This data is transcribed to a file and then that file is placed in outside software via real-time. This is done using a socket connection in either the HL7 or custom language.

Conveyant Interface: This version monitors Meditech for patient/and employee phone number changes. When a change has been made, this new information is transferred real time to Conveyant's Phone Tracking Software. Reception then has real time access to phone number changes in Meditech thru Conveyant.

CDS Trigger: This version monitors Customer Defined Fields for particular responses. If a user answers in a particular way to a CDS query, a trigger is initiated that causes user defined fields or standard fields to be transmitted real time across a socket connection to a receiving system.
