Using the MEDITECH Drug Dictionary, we illustrate how other related dictionaries are used in the creation of the Drug Dictionary. The trainer then explores the process of creating Cart Dictionaries as they apply to the Unit Dose Cart filling system as well as IV Refill Lists. By the end of the presentation, students will understand how these dictionaries are related and how changes within these dictionaries affect the Pharmacy Module as a whole.
